Beautiful, energetic, and fierce, hummingbirds are endlessly entertaining. These tiny, jeweled birds can brighten any day. Their flight abilities seem almost magical and watching them flit around our backyard feeder never fails to bring a smile to my face. I tried to capture a tiny bit of that enchanting energy in my drawing of a Ruby Throated Hummingbird dancing among mimosa blossoms.
Inspired by the incredible flourished works of past Master Penman, this piece was designed and drawn entirely by hand with a dip pen and ink. This is not a digital creation.
